Rodgers, Dan Godfrey: Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, after a short illness on Saturday March 9, 2024. One month short of his 93rd birthday. Devoted husband of the late Nola (nee Perks). Much loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Grant McFarlane (Cromwell) and Dave and Sharon (Invercargill) and also a much loved uncle to Craig and Julie Rodgers. Cherished by his grandchildren and enjoyed by his great-grandchildren. A cherished friend of Gina Gilmour. Thanks to Driving with Miss Daisy, St John Ambulance crews and to the staff of the Southland Hospital Medical Ward for their care and support. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance can be left at the service. A Memorial Service to celebrate Dan’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill on Friday, March 15, at 2.30pm.
