LOCKETT: Owen Quentin Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at Rowena Jackson on Saturday 10th December 2022, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Beverley (Bev). Adored and loved Dad, father-in-law and Grandad (G-Dad) of Phillip and Marg, Hayley, Zak; Sharon and Michael Withers, Chris, and Laura. Loved brother of Tony and Gaynor, Allan*, and Irene*. The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to Trish and all of the staff in the Donovan Unit for their wonderful care and support. A service to celebrate Owen’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday, December 14th at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzhemiers Southland would be appreciated and can be left at the service. I had quite a bit to do with Owen many years ago when I was a Purchasing Officer at NZAS and he worked at Jesco Hydraulics.
To me and I am sure many others he was he perfect defintion of a "true gentleman."
