DEVERY, Leo Charles.

Passed peacefully on Friday, 16 December, 2022. Beloved husband of Joan. Loved and adored father and father-in-law of Wendy and Tim (Christchurch), Jan and Geoff (Invercargill), Tracey and Richard (Queenstown). Dearly loved Pop of Mitchell, Sarah, Abbey, Cameron, and Hannah; great-grandfather of Abel and Alfie. Loved brother and brother-law of *Bruce and *Margaret Devery, Margaret and *Ian Chamberlain, *Noel and Geraldine Devery. Rosary will be recited in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 449 North Road, Invercargill on Tuesday 20 December at 5pm, Requiem Mass to follow on Wednesday 21 December at 11am also in the church. Interment at Eastern Cemetery thereafter. Dear Joan and family. I’m So sorry to hear of Leo’s passing., we loved Leo, he was so kind and had a wonderful sense of humour. His daily conversations with my then toddler through the fence I will always remember and welcoming us to the neighbourhood with the best scones ever are just a couple of great memories with Leo. .
