McALISTER Mary Imelda (nee Burke)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Calvary Hospital on Sunday 12^th February 2023, in her 86^th year.

Much loved wife of the late Kevin.

Loved mother and mother in law of Janine McAlister and Jonathan Major (Sawbridgeworth, UK), James Glenn (Jimmy) and Mel McAlister, and the late Lisa (Invercargill), Grant McAlister and Peggy Zhen (Wellington), and the late Timothy McAlister.

Loved Nana Bangles of Cameron McAlister and Benjamin Major.

Mary was a dearly loved sister, sister in law and Aunty.

Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Calvary Hospital for their devoted care of Mary over the past 12 years.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Basilica, 65 Tyne Street, Invercargill on Thursday 16^th February 2023 at 10.30am.  Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.
