I have many fond memories of Clive starting from when we were 5 at Middle school. We have had many social times with you both at Waikaia over the past number of years. Particularly our visits to the Waikaia (shop!) . I was pleased I got to see Clive in his last week.
Sympathy to you all, hope we keep in touch

As the controller of the NZ Masters Games table tennis held in Dunedin every 2 years from 1992 until 2020 Clive was an active competitor. He won many age groups medals. I admired his ability at lunch times to go out to his car an sneak a 10 minute nap, Mostly he was OK but occasionally someone had to rescue him from his slumber.

To Brenda and family. I was one of Clives Milk Boys, this being my first proper employment. I have many fond memories of those days working with Clive and Wayne Murchland.. it was always great to catch up when you were holidaying at Waikaia. Please accept our condolences at this very sad time.

Dear Brenda and family,
Margaret (née Elliott) & I send our deepest sympathy and condolence to you all at this time of Clive's passing. He was a good friend to us & we are sure to many more. Clive was a pillar in the Invercargill congregation. He lived a good life as a husband, father and 'pop' within his family. We know that he will not be forgotten by the Almighty God. Warm regards & best wishes from Wally & Margaret Simpson.
Wally & Margaret Simpson, Rangiora.
We first met Clive when he had the coffee shop in Esk St. many years ago, then in Kelvin St. It was a pleasure to go there for a "cuppa". Clive was a good friend, & we enjoyed his visits with us, even if we didn't agree with all he said. He was a faithful witness for his Lord, & that is all that matters. Our sympathies go to his family at this time. God be with you all, & strengthen you with His love. May your library of memories give you comfort, & the love of God bring you peace. God bless

Brenda, I have many fond memories with Clive from our first day as 5-year-olds at Middle school. It was great to reconnect in Waikaia and our wee trips to the (shop) for a pint! Thinking of you all with Sympathy Lou

This is such a loss for your family. I’ve kept in touch with Clive over the years, catching up with him at the Jehovah’s Witnesses meetings.
I really respect him for being active and involved till the end.
All the young lads I grew up with looked up to Clive. We would seek his advice about buying cars and proudly show him our purchases.
Now we have all grown old and are well in to our 60s. But I will always appreciate the effort and work Clive did for us in our congregation.
