My thoughts are with you all at such a time.
Our time with Dad( coz everyone else was calling him Dad)was short but we had a great time talking the talk and having a laugh! A great big smile on his dial will never be forgotten
Kia Kaha and love to you all

A beautiful service which we both watched today on livestream. Loved all the great stories. We too have lots of memories of Al from the BP days which also includes BBQs. The day he caught the river bank on fire at the Appleby River, which thank goodness we managed to extinguish ourselves. Oh then there was the day up the Wairoa Gorge when Al put hot charcoal ashes in the council rubbish bin. We also managed to extinguish that one as well. There was smoke everywhere that day. A great guy taken too soon.
Condolences to you all.
Craig (ex BP) and Sue Adams, Nelson
You were firstly my friend then my husband and then your most important role, father to our beautiful daughters Inez and Kylie.
You were always there for our daughters and never shied from expressing how proud you were of them as they navigated their way through life.
Your passing leaves a hole in my heart as I know it does for our girls and their families.
Thank you for the love, laughter and support you gave and the memories that remain.

Rest in Peace Alan.
