MURRELL: John Robert (Jack) of Manapouri

Jack died peacefully at Rowena Jackson, Invercargill on Monday 8th May 2023 in his 89th year.

Deeply loved husband of Klaske. Father and father-in-law of Gilly and Russ, Rob and Philippa, Alice and Dion, Ruth and Tim. Grandad of Aisling, Claire; Zoë, Will; Jack, and Leo. Respected stepfather of Kyle, and Ilsa; step-grandfather of Lauren, Mali and his great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Burton (deceased), Margaret, and Bina. Former husband of Barbara Clarke.

A service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held at the Te Anau Club, Cnr Pop Andrew Drive & Jackson Street on Tuesday 16th May at 1.30pm. Messages to 7B Murrell Avenue, Manapouri 9679

It is with sadness I send you all Love and hugs hearing of dear Jacks passing today. I cant imagine Manapouri without him, he stood tall taking the reigns from Burton like a boss and carried on the fabulous stories and experiences the bones of which Manapouri is today.
RIP my ol friend and may your journey be as exciting as it began here on earth.
