Rest in peace Brian - a lovely, kind and funny man - a pleasure to know you and be part of your family. Some great memories over all the years, such a great gardener and legendary pikelets. Thinking of all the family and sending our best wishes and love for the service on Saturday. Lots of love to you all xxxx

Great memories of Brian, June and family at Waikaia and Athol, and in later years lunch at the Newfield Tavern with pope, Brownie, and Baldy. That’s Ian Brown and Bill Beattie
Rest in peace Brian and have a cold one with the lads upstairs for me xxx

Brian - you were like a big brother to me at GWD's we worked together, played indooor basketball and soccer together and had some wonderful time - June was a really lovely lady - you were a wonderful couple.

Brian was my foreman when I started my apprenticeship in 1960 at GWD's. He trained me right through my apprentiship and taught me my trade well. He was a good mentor. Later when he was retired and my late wife and I (Judith King also ex GWD's) had our own garage he became a regular customer which I appreciated.
