My deepest sympathies to you and the family at this very sad time. Ronnie will be sorely missed.
Norma and Ronnie, you both had a big influence on me growing up, being my first employer and mentor into farming.
I have very fond memories of my youth on the farm at Mokotua, spending days with Ronnie baling wool, stock work in the yards and out working on the farm.
You were great neighbours, always very supportive of our family, lending a hand and such kindness.
We are forever grateful for your generosity. Norma I have to mention you will always be renowned for your scrumptious smoko's and roast lunches. The best on the shearing run by far!
It warms my heart to know that Ronnie passed at home surrounded by love ones.
You're an incredible family and I know will be supporting each other in mourning and celebrating Ron's life.

My dear Norma and family. I just read that Ron has passed away and I am very shocked. We have known each other since 1948 , were neighbours and friends and I was your bridesmaid. I am very sorry for your loss Norma and wish that we lived closer (I'm in ChCh) and wish I could be there with and for you at this sad time. Ron was always a nice guy and he adored you. Please know that you are in my thoughts. Much love from Lynette Garnett (nee Bailey). xxxx

Condolences to your family on the passing of such an incredible man. I have very fond memories of duck shooting with Ronnie and my grandfather in Mokotua. He always had a cheeky smile and a laugh.

They were both keen to share their wisdom with me, usually once the top had come off the flagon.
