Shepherd, Josephine Ellen (nee Howard): With great sadness, we announce the passing of our Mum on Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Loved wife of the late Paul. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg, Johann and Andrew Forde, Paula and Ben Fox. A loved Nana of Sawyer; James and Caitlin; and grand pup Poppy. Will be sadly missed. R.I.P. We would kindly like to thank all the staff at Walmsley House and latterly at Rowena Jackson for their care, compassion and love they gave Mum. A Requiem Mass for Josephine will be held in St. Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill on Thursday, August 31 at 11.30am. Followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Messages to Johann, 33 David Street Invercargill 9810 or Paula at 26 Kinmont Crescent, Invercargill 9812

My condolences Johann and family. Josephine was such a lovely lady, I remember having a lot of chats with her when picking the kids up from school. Then years later, we crossed each others paths again. RIP Josephine.
