Bill Christie came across an article I published years ago and that eventually helped me to discover the wee island Down Under and briefly serve St. Andrew's Church community. Our thoughts and words of comfort to Doris and family.

We are so sorry to hear this news. Bill was a compassionate man, firm in his faith, and a true gentleman. We are forever grateful for his gardening help when we needed it, for the care and thoughtfulness he displayed, for his warm and encouraging friendship, and for his wisdom. Sorry we cannot be there physically at this time, but we will join you online for his service. A good and faithful servant. Much love to all, Nichi and Reg Voice.

I worked with Bill when he was the Manager of the Wyndham Rest Home. A gentle man with a quick sense of humour and wisdom. He was so kind to the residents and his care and concern for them was shown in all he did. He spoke often of his family and his love for you all was evident. 'well done good and faithful servant'

Bill leaves us the gentlest, kindest and inspiring legacy from his living the true values he believed in. It has been a privilege to meet him at Deep Cove Hostel and be shaped by his influence, thoughtful contacts and to stay in touch over this lovely life’s journey.
