Your stories will always live on in our whanau and house, there are so many that start with I remember when Hoach….. How can they not when you taught Pera so much during his influential years.
I will always personally remember how quickly you were there to help us both and then the three of us once Taineara was born. Peras accident is the one that stands out the most to me. Right there to help, no questions asked, that meant so much at such a hard time. You stood by Pera so many times, educating me on cows with jackets, our wedding, visits to Clarks beach, watching Tainearas rugby, advice on fences and farming, there are too many to mention.
Rest easy Hoach and we really hope there is enough Speights up there for you and your mates x
