Gee, Magdalen (Peggy), (nee McRae):

27 April 1932 - 5 November 2023

Peggy passed peacefully on November 5, 2023 after a long, happy and fulsome life, very well lived, albeit with some health challenges in the final straight. Cherished wife and soulmate of John for the past 70 years. Dearly loved Mum of Lenore and Peter Inglis, Alan and Erika, and Ken. Treasured Nana of Emma and Scott Chapman, Michael and Shannon, Katie and Martin Brown, Sarah Inglis, Chris and Dalila and Rani Mikl-Powell, and beloved Great-Nana of Lacey and Kian Chapman, Edie Gee, and Seb Brown. With a wonderful caring nature and beautiful smile, Peggy embraced life and assuredly handled everything that came her way. R.I.P. The family greatly appreciate the care and compassion from her carers over the last 4 years and from the staff at Ascot Bupa Care Home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic Church, Perth Street, Invercargill on Friday, November 10 at 1.00pm. Rosary will be held in the church on Thursday November 9 at 7.00pm. Messages to Villa 7, Ascot Retirement Village, 211 Racecourse Road, Invercargill 9810
