Dear Coke and family. What a shock to read this news. So sorry for your loss. I have lovely memories of Ian and one of these memoirs is Ian bringing live crayfish into the clinic for all the staff. Every time we have been in you and Ian’s company has been fun. I’m sorry we won’t be at his service due to Grae having surgery but we will be in touch later. Love to you and all the family

Today will be one of many tough days ahead, although I am sure you are surrounded by a sea of friends and family that will be able to support you through. Ian's legacy is you and his memory will live on through the countless stories you share of all the adventures and sometimes misadventures that you shared through the years.

To coke and family ,very saddened to hear of Ian’s passing . I’ve such fond memories of earlier crayfishing days , he always complained about cabbages , on one instance I left the aparima pub , ventured down to my supermarket returning with a replacement cabbage, sure enough he tore it into a thousand pieces , much to the delight of bar full of patrons. Utmost respect to you all . Ian Brinsdon
