Donald was my uncle but he was 2 years younger than me, When we were kids, Granny used to invite me to go to Tornaveen for the summer. Donald and I would get into some trouble sometimes. I remember one time we went to the shop for something and on the way back we decided to walk through the field of oats instead of walking along the road. Of course the oats were high and ready for harvest and the spot where we walked was flattened . At supper that night Uncle Joe told the story of something ruining the oats. I said it was maybe a dog and Uncle Joe said that said that was “no” dog, so Donald decided the bull must have gotten out of the other field. We didn’t get punished but we knew never to walk through the field of oats again. Many good childhood memories at Tornaveen. Sorry for your loss, sending condolences to all his family.
Love to all
