Sad news to Read about Les, Not seen him for many years. Worked with him at the Telephone Exchange in Palmerston for a long time. And started Barbara on her Radio Career. Which i think she was not sure if she could do it. But turns out she could no problem. So sad for all the Family. Will watch the live service. My sympathy Barbara.

Just a note to convey my sympathies at this time. I am sorry I cant get to the funeral despite being in Queenstown as there are no flights available back to Napier and I have a cat to collect from the cattery. Will watch the ;live stream and be thinking of you all. You will have loads of happy memories to keep him live in your hearts.

Dear Barbara and family. I was so sorry to hear of Les's passing. Both you Barbara, and Les were truly good friends to my parents. That kindness and support will never be forgotten by me. Again please accept my deepest condolences for Les's loss.

Your family has played a big part in my life.
I am sorry I was unable to grieve/remember and celebrate the life of Les with you today.
Thanks for the livestream link. As a young lad I looked up to the older Jopson’s and shared many good memories at school and Sunday school with the youngest. I also enjoyed many conversations with Les in latter years at Palmerston Presbyterian. What one leaves behind them is a wonderful testament to who they are and what they stood for. I see that in the Jopson family. Lots of love to you all I am thankful for the part all of you have played in my life and families lives
