Valerie passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 7th January 2024 in her 93rd year.
Reunited with her beloved husband, Bob.
Loving Mum and mother-in-law of Wayne and Ailsa; Kerin and Mark; David; Andrew and Suze; Tania and Bernie. Much loved Grandma of Agnes and Nic, Robert and Emma, Benjamin and Rebecca, Eilish and Gregoire; Sam, Jared; Sophia, Hannah, Ryan; Ryley, Luca, Cassie; and Ollie. Proud great-Grandma of Charlotta; Esther, Bastien; and Annabelle. ‘Always in our hearts’ A special ‘thank you’ to the staff of Iona for their exceptional care of Valerie.
A service to celebrate Valerie’s life will be held at Peacehaven Chapel, 498 Tweed Street, Invercargill, on Friday 12th January at 1.30pm followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
