HARVEY, Sylvia Margaret:

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of staff at Wyndham Rest Home, on Thursday 11 April 2024. Aged 84.

Beloved wife of the late Geoff. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Christine and Pete Egerton, the late Bruce, Logan and Debbie. Loved Gran of Liam and Baylee, Ben and Charlotte, and loved Mamma of Shaz. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Eddie* and Joyce* Bacon, Colleen*, Doug and Liz*, Russell* and Bev*, Pam and Keith* Taylor. Loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Wyndham Rest Home, for their care of Sylvia.

As per Sylvia’s wishes, a private family service of farewell has been held.

Farewell Sylvie, you were such a stalwart on netball in Southland. I first met you as a very new learner umpire and the southern ladies were so supportive. Thankyou for the good times and memories, rest in peace my friend

I spent many an hour with Sylvie at Aunty Isabel s house. I will never forget her laugh and jovall outlook on life.
I believe she also played in a band with my Dad, Jimmy Smith.
