We were sorry to hear of Norms passing today. We will remember his wicked sense of humor great smile and always had time for a yarn. Could drive a racing boat pretty good too !! When we first met Norm and Daff we had tea in their caravan. What a night. We are thinking of you Daff and the family. Alastair and Ruth Gorrie.

I have so many fantastic memories of trips around the South Island, dragging the cars, with you and Norm and Bob and Shirl. Norm was always the life of the party and his jokes were hard to compete with. Thinking of you Daph. Love Greg Simons. Aka Spooks

heartfelt love to the Butler family and so sorry to hear the lose of Norm. He was not only a great husband/father but one hell of a driver and was one of my hero's as a kid growing up in speedway. This is a time where 54i should be hung up in the speedway clubs rooms in the super salon era and the number retired from that class.
