I knew Sarah from DOC in Rotorua. We all loved her fun, sunny disposition and can do attitude. Sarah would give anything a go and being out in nature was her favorite place.
Saddened by the loss of such a light in the world. Sending love and condolences to the whānau.
Rest in peace Sarah.

Heartfelt thoughts to the Crump family for the loss of lovely Sarah. Sarah and I became friends in Rotorua when we both worked at DOC. We had great fun mountain biking, tramping and lots of other adventures as well as lots of fabulous times working together. I've kept in touch with Sarah over the years and when we moved to Southland in 2020 I had the great fortune of spending some more time with her. Sarah's kind nature and sense of humour always brought a smile. Sarah was a genuine and down to earth person who was well liked and admired by many. May you be at peace Sarah. Haere ra e hoa

Sending love and condolences from Chiang Mai, Thailand. Sarah and I flatted together in our last year at university and kept in touch over the years. She was such a beautiful soul and was a generous supporter and encourager of our work with refugees and conflict-affected communities.

I am so so sorry you have to say goodbye to your dear Sarah and for the gap she will leave in your family. I love her name … from all the tributes it is clear she lived up to her middle name of Joy. May your memories with Sarah bring you some comfort amidst the deep pain of loss.
I’m sorry I can’t be with you in person, but will join with you online.
With much love

So many fond and loving memories of Sarah. I met her in 2008 when I was trying to be a weeds ranger and she was in charge of giving technical advice to weeds rangers at the Rotorua Doc office. Her calm, kind genuine nature shone through at every moment. She made a bewildering time much smoother. I have fond memories of shared dinners, walks and talks. My thoughts are with the Crump family and her community. Arohanui Sarah
