SIMMONDS, Elizabeth Patricia ‘Betty’ (nee Burke).

Of Invercargill, formerly Winton. Passed peacefully with family by her side at Rowena Jackson on Friday 31 May aged 93. Dearly loved wife of Kevin for 67 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Bede, Vincent, Gerard, Josepha and Paul Bremer, and Mark. Adored Nana of Gabrielle, Michelle, Anastasia and Jonny, Briar, Ché, and Asher. Adoring Great-Nana of Billy Catto. A much loved sister and sister-in-law, and loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. RIP A funeral to celebrate Betty’s life will be held in St Mary’s Catholic Basilica, 65 Tyne Street, Invercargill on Friday 7 June at 1:30pm followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery.
