FAIRWEATHER, Grace (née Hughes).

Of Invercargill, passed peacefully with family in the care of Vickery Court on Thursday 6 June, 2024, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Cyril. Much loved Mum of Roger* and Jan, Marilyn and John Cromarty, Christine and Trevor Quested, Bryan and Gay, Karen and Neil Johnstone, Maree Gittus. Loved Grandma of her 16 grandchildren and loved “Grandma Grace” of her 22 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of her siblings, and loved sister-in-law of Shirley Morehau. Loved aunt of her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday 11 June at 1:30pm followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. Grace will be resting at 54 Maitland Street, Invercargill until the service.
