STIRLING John Alexander (Jack)

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Wednesday 31st July 2024, aged 96 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Zada.

Loved and respected father and father in law of Nigel and Karen, and Helen and Tim Gow.

Loved Granding of Rose and Alexandra, and loved Grandad of Jasmine and Johnny, Mel, Nikita and Saxon, and Robert.

Loved Great grandad of Blair and Harrison.

Loved brother and brother in law of George* and June* and Rene*, and Wilma and Herbie* Martyn, and Alison and Dirk Rinckes.

Family sincerely thank the staff of Cargill Rest home for their care and support for the past two years and the staff of Hospice Southland for their care and compassion in Jack’s last days.

A service for Jack will be held on Monday 5th August 2024, 1.30pm in Windsor Community Church, Windsor Street, Invercargill.  Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.

I have very happy memories as a teenager getting the bus out and working on the farm, driving the V8 etc
And Zada was a bundle of fun too!
