MCLEAN, Reece Roderick.
Of Winton. Died suddenly on 29 July 2024, age 69. Beloved husband of Ronelle. Adored and respected father and grandfather of Erin Waldron, Alex Van Eck, Blair McLean, Candice Van Eck, Samantha Dickey; Riley Van Eck, Benjamin Waldron, Meike McLean, Taylar Maw. Loved by “his wider family”. A service to celebrate Reece’s life will be held in Invercargill Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Wednesday 7 August, 2024 at 1:30pm followed by private interment. I have fond memories of you from my childhood and in later life you were always quick to give a hug and chat whenever we bumped into each other when I was down visiting family. I first met Reece when I put an ad on th eCountdown board. He came down from Christchurch to meet me at one of his rental properties for odd jobs. We became good friends with him. Anything he wanted help with he would ring Philip.
