Brown, Kay Alison
25/05/46 - 06/08/24

Peacefully at home after a brave battle, Kay left us on her late mother’s birthday and on a beautiful sunny day.

Cherished daughter of the late John and Grace Edwards. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Jillian and Cyril, mother of Perrin and Rachael, Nanny to Jorja and Talia, step-mum to Robbie,’ and Gareth and loved aunty of her many nieces and nephews.

Kay’s celebration of life will be at the Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive on Wednesday 14th August at 1.00pm. Donations to Hospice Southland in lieu of flowers would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Will miss my fabulous Aunty Kay.
So many great memories, from holidays in Gisborne to catching up on her trips to the UK.
We had a great time one year driving around central London in a convertible as Kay was standing up and taking pictures of the landmarks. She had great spirit and was always up for an adventure.
Sending all our love to the family in NZ and very sad that we cannot be there.

So sorry to read of Kay's passing. Always a lovely friendly smile and chat when I met her. Thinking of you and may your memories help you through.

"From far-off halcyon days at Tuturau to more contemporary times. A friendship rekindled.
Farewell dear friend travel onward on "Golden Wings" without pain and suffering.
Until we meet again - with much empathy and compassion.
