Love and hugs to the family.
Auntie Joan was dearly loved by our family. Great memories of our two families almost growing up together. Sorry I can’t be with you all at this sad time. 🥰

To the McDonald Family
I am very sorry to learn of Joan's passing. I went to primary school with Alistair. My parents (Jean and Irving Rutherford) lived in Edendale for many years. Irving was the Presbyterian Minister. Jean is still with us and lives in Christchurch at Diana Isaac Retirement Village. She remembers Joan and would like her condolences passed to the family.
Our thoughts are with you at this time.
Alistair - it would be nice to make contact after so long.

Deepest Sympathies on the passing of your lovely mother. I have fond memories of Mrs McDonald testing me for a Girl Guide badge and her just always being so welcoming and friendly whenever I would visit. I am thinking of you all at this very sad time.
