Condolences to the Hitchcock Family. Carol was a very special Head Teacher at Waverley Park Kindergarten. She provided an excellent foundation for children’s first steps in their education journey. It was a privilege to work with her. Kind regards, Roger H Stephenson

Carol, my friend of 60 plus years. My sister in the Guiding ethos to which we both belonged, and in which we both believed. A generous, caring, kindly woman; one who shared my Christian faith. A woman who, though disabled by medical events, still found ways to express her love; so beautiful; so touching. I continue to treasure these messages. Thank you Carol, thank you. I am proud to have been YOUR friend.

Our thoughts are with Carol's family at this sad time. She has left many happy memories in the lives of girls throughout her involvement with Girl Guiding. As we say in Guiding..."Gone home." From the members of GirlGuiding Murihiku.

Just wanted to express my best wishes to Carol's family at this time. I had the pleasure of knowing Carol as a kindergarten teacher and the warmth as she included you when I relieved at the kindergarten. I still smile at the team taking notes of my music and movement aerobics to utilize other times. Was lovely to have known you Carol, thank you.
