Dear family
It is with sadness that I read in the newspaper of Beryl’s passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you her loving family who gave Beryl so much pleasure.
Beryl was my best friend in our time in Te Anau.
We rang each other each morning just to make we were in the land of the living.
I’ll never forget the night of the 7.1 earthquake when we kept in touch by phone wondering what would be the outcome.
Then there was Home Bridge which we enjoyed playing each Friday. Women’s Club an excuse to buy something new to wear or Golden Age Club and Probus. Not to mention the wonderful view we had of the lake and mountains.
Another highlight was going to Norfolk Island to play Bridge and to Aus staying with Ross and Ian.
My loving thoughts are with you
