YOUNGSON, Helen Mary (nee McGown).

Passed away peacefully at Clare House on Saturday 19 October 2024, surrounded by her family, aged 105 years. Much loved wife of the late Tom. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kathleen and Tony* Wilkes (Melbourne), John and Robyn Youngson (Timaru), Ron and Margaret Youngson (Brisbane), Margaret and Ken Wilson-Pyne (Christchurch), June and Neil McCrostie (Riverton), Ken and Jill Youngson (Gore), Marion and Ray King (Rakahouka), and Philip and Shirley Youngson (Timaru). Much loved Grandmother to her 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A much loved Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank the staff at Clare House for their support and wonderful care during the last 8 years, and especially in the last couple of months. A service will be held at the Edendale Presbyterian Church on Friday 25 October at 11am followed by private interment.
