BALDWIN, Hilda Stella (Stella) (nee Beattie).

Suddenly on Sunday, 3 November 2024. Aged 85 years. Much loved and devoted wife of Ivan for 63 years. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Alistair (Christchurch), and Donna and Mike (Alexandra). Loving Nana of Daniel (Timaru). Loving daughter of the late Hilda and Joseph Beattie. Loving sister of Ida*, Joe, Eunice* and Norman*. As per Stella’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Friday, 8 November at 2.30pm. Special thanks to Dr Kate Wheeler for her wonderful care and support over many years. Thanks to Georgia at Rowena Jackson and St Johns Ambulance staff who attended to Stella on Sunday. Dear Uncle Ivan, Alistair, Daniel, Donna & Mike we are all deeply sad to hear of Aunty Stella’s sudden passing.
I have many fond memories of growing up in Invercargill and our extended family was a big part of our life. Aunty Stella was always so kind and thought of others before herself. I am going to miss her greatly.
