HILLIS, Mike (Bart):

We have shed tears because you are gone, but we also smile because you are our brother. We close our eyes and wish you are still here, our heart’s are broken, cos we can’t see you, but our heart’s are also full with precious memories that will never die. Through life you have done everything at your own pace, never in a hurry, never got angry, never held a grudge. But hell Mike, on Tuesday “Boom”, and we never got to say goodbye. You are and always will be in our heart’s.

Our wonderful brother Rest in Peace with all our love from your sister’s

To Colleen and family, my most sincere condolences at this sad time. I have had the pleasure of working with Bart at the Edendale factory in transport for the last eleven seasons, he would have to be the most honest, calm and happy man I have met in 52 years of my working life. Bart was always smiling and had an exceptional work ethic. He will be missed. Wayne Harper

To Colleen and Family,
My sincere condolences to you all. I've had the privilege of growing up through the schooling, teenage and early adult years with Michael in Edendale. Michael has been such a lovely, loyal, calm and caring guy. I will always remember the times good times whether it was mucking around on our bikes after school, playing pool at Garth and Chooks listening to ACDC or camping with the crew at Glendu Bay. You have been taken way too early. You have warmed the hearts of many. RIP Michael.

May I extend my deepest sympathies to you Collen and your family, at this very sad time
