To the Bonn- Verberk family - So sorry that your lovely Mother Dinny has passed away. She always had such a lovely heart and was a kind caring person always smiling. I recall the first time I met her when I went to their Conyers St home after school to play with Elsa - aged 7- she made me feel so welcome. She was a loyal and loving friend to Mum and Dad and our family and also when Mum remarried Joe Van Empel. I last spoke to her at Joes funeral 10 days ago - she gave me a lovely hug. It was always a delight to see her The Dutch community has lost another legend. May God encompass you all with his love at this time. and comfort you. All my love, Shirley Cranstoun ( Rodenburg)

I will carry the memories of when i was a child and would come and see you in your awesome little A-frame house where you would often look after me or i would come pick my presents up from dad in Australia.

Although i could never understand what you were saying with your accent and fast way of speaking as a kid, it was always clear the love you showed to everyone around you, and your baking was always a treat!

You will be missed, and with a heavy heart i send all my love to the family today.

To Diny's family,
Diny and I met at St. Patrick's. Her warm welcome was followed with an invitation to morning tea and that was the beginning of a friendship I will always cherish. I am grateful for Diny sharing her faith and love of life and others with us during the 5 years we lived in Invercargill.
Sending our sincere condolences to each of you.
Warm aloha from Hawaii

Hello family Bonn,
I heard of my sister the death of your mother, and I wish you all strength in these sad days.
I am the son of Henk Bom (brother of your late father Jan Bonn)
I met her a few times when she was in the Netherlands

She always had the pleasure of being with her family and friends in the Netherlands.
She was also the bond between you in New Zealand and the Netherlands.
Perhaps this band can be kept in one way or another?
I wish you strength in dealing with this big loss and who knows we might see each other again ....

Regards

Beste familie Bom,
