Our thoughts are with you Paula at this sad time.
The sheep are in the paddock grazing piecefully, the dogs are fed, its time to kick off the gumboots and take your well earned rest.

Our thoughts are with you all today - especially Paula.
We remember Barry as such a hard working farmer who loved his sheep and dogs.
Rest in peace.
Mary & David Wayte., Wanaka
Sending lots of love Paula, Barry is a large part of many of my best memories from Haldane - years of hay making, working in the woodshed and tailing. His was rugged on the outside like the land he farmed but on the inside had the best humour and laugh - still remember him sneaking his own flower into the Women’s Division flower competition and winning! Take care

Sending you lots of love Paula at this sad time. Your Dad had the most wicked sense of humour and a real dry wit that got us through a lot of shearing, crutching and tailing episodes. His skills with both dog and horse were super impressive and he was one of the hardest working and kindest people I knew. Thinking of you.
Paula Clode, Tauranga
I'll echo the words of others but such a strong character, welcoming and loved that tough farm at slope point. He seemed to reveal in its swings and roundabouts. RIP Barry. For an older guy to take on and work with a young fella like me was a privilege I still value.
