Hi Isabel's family and friends ... I am thinking of you all at this time.. Is was such a toughie and so loyal, having known her for 57 yrs when we were 17 yr olds beginning our nursing journey. Just very relieved she died with dignity and her family around her .. she and Don are back together again, after so many struggles :) xxxx
Much love

Jono and Kate and family my condolences on your loss. Aunty Is the best Aunty anyone could have wished for , you had a wicked laugh and always had a smile on your face. I have fond memories of you and Mum meeting halfway between Alexandra and Invercargill so we could stay for part of the holidays , being well fed and entertained (albeit we had to wait half an hour after lunch before we cold go swimming :-) .
You will be sorely missed by our family.

To Jonathan, Kate and the rest of the family my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It was an honour to have known Isabel for about 35 years when she shared an office with dad at Polytech in Invercargill. May you be comforted by the memories of all the wonderful times you shared. Take care.

Remembering a kind, caring, fun loving and professional colleague whom I shared an office group wiith at Souhland Polyechnic from 1986. When I returned to Invercargill for a visit and lunch at Isabels home 12 months ago, she made Harry and I so welcome. Despite her health issues she was an amazing host. I always admired her strength and courage. Thinking of you all at this time.

My sympathy to Isabel’s family. We did our nursing training together & worked together again as RNs. I enjoyed catching up at reunions & hearing of her much loved family.

To Kate, Jonathan and families,
Isabel was always the professional in what ever she did. As a nurse, she was a pleasure to work with, always helping others at any opportunity.
We didn’t meet up often, but each time we did we just picked up where we had left off. She is a loss.
Thinking of you all at this unsettled time. Love and Blessings

Isabel and Don, you were both fabulous, the first to bring us a cake when we moved into Duke Street, and great clients travelling many times to Palm Cove. Really enjoyed our many catch ups in Invers and will miss you so much. Together again for eternity.

Dear Jono , Kate and Families. I am so sorry for your loss. Isabel was a very special friend and mentor to me, there are not many days when her influence doesn’t impact on who I am today. I caught up with Issie last December and we shared lots of laughs and a few tears. As I left she gave me one of the cook books she had done with your dad - still love those raspberry brownies and share them with my current work colleagues just as she did with us. she told me in June this year that she would be unlikely to see Christmas so I had the privilege of being able to tell her how important she was to me . My thoughts are with you all, she will be truly missed and will leave an issie shaped hole in the lives of all who knew and loved her .
