Ross will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him, I played golf with Ross for many years and in his latter years played bowls with him RIP Ross.

Yes, Ross, you were keen on your golf and completed a great job for our Left-Handers Nationals at Te Anau all those years ago. Then you came to my tournament at the Waimak. You had the personality and the voice. I see you were an "Eagle" and gave a lot back to the Murray Halberg trust. On behalf of the NALG NZ and the "Eagles" fraternity, thank you
Rodger Welsh, Rangiora
Fond memories of Ross as a farming neighbour and encouragement on the golf course and bowling green. RIP Ross.
Noeline Adam, Rangiora
Lots of memories of Gillespie Road antics always made us feel welcome with bbq at the back of farm years ago! Condolences to all the family.

So sad to finally hear of Ross’s passing weeks later. Word didn’t filter through to me here in Perth until now. He was such a very special friend to my partner Ron Youthed and myself. He stayed with us many times in Christchurch and we always stayed with him in Te Anau where they talked golf and more golf and putting the world to rights. Such a lovely man who I will miss dearly on my annual visits back to Te Anau. I am sure they’ll be talking golf right now. RIP Ross xx
