Sorry to hear of Mrs Watsons passing. I remember getting piano lessons as a kid at her home on North Road over 40 years ago. Thinking of the family at this time.

Mrs Watson, your final notes have been played and now you can have a well deserved rest.
As I pause to remember you as my piano teacher back in the late 80's into the 90's in your house in North Road, I thank you for your invaluable time and patience for the musical skills installed.
Condolences to the family.

I have been thinking of Mrs Watson lately as I lean back into playing the piano after a long break. Mrs Watson's teaching has gifted me skills that have endured for many years and that I didn't know I still had. A very skilled teacher who has left me with the joy of music that I will have for life and will pass on to my children. Thank you.

Helen links with my Waikiwi forebears and
I have fond memories of past times enjoying her company midst 'clan Wison' gatherings. We also "reviewed" many special local concerts and musical performances when we met!
I extend my Sympathy on her passing.
Sincerely

Sad to hear of Helen's passing, my condolences to the family. I have great memories of the ten years i spent as her student learning the piano, cycling to North road to the house (Lachie popping in with her cup of tea at pre-agreed times) and the legacy where after much time, she turned me into a "performer" who really loved playing the piano well.
