A true blue husband of his adored late wife Noeline. Devoted and loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Peter Cowan (Winton), Joanne and Bruce Dickens (Ingill), Delwyn and Bill Carey (Oporo), Jason and Jackie Gray (Wallacetown). Loved Gramps of Nick and Sarah, Scott and Casey, Paige and Brayden; Anton and Bailee, Cruze and Liana, Abby and George; Liam and Lydia; Tamati and Rina, Tara and Maloni. Loved Great Gramps of Nathan, Myles, Jorge, McKenna, Henry, Ivy, Sienna, Emerson, Nahla, Bella, Jerome, Bailee-Rose, Roman, and Keanu.
