Mary was a kind friend to new girl at Waianiwa School who saw her become the quintessential mother and countrywoman. My sincerest condolences to all the family.

My Condolances to the Family of Mary, I first met Mary when she Joined our Social Club, and when she said she used to live in Wianiwa, it all fitted in. I can say, we had some real good catchups, I miss her Company.
Lyndsay Johnstone, Winton
I was very sad to hear of Mary's passing. I remember her best for her involvement in the Tokanui Garden Circle, for which she must take much credit in keeping it functioning. Mary would be very happy to know that we have revived the group in the last five years, refer to it as the Garden group, or Garden club now, and It has a very good following. It is always very sad when an old identity of the district passes on, and we extend our deepest sympathy to the family.
Janette Buckingham, 1 R.D. Tokanui
