So sad to read this.
Sue (my sewing lady) was such a friendly and welcoming lady. Her and Don inviting me into their home to have my sewing repairs done.
Don always gave plenty of friendly banter, and usually never leaving without something from the garden.
My thoughts are with you all, Sue was such a beautiful lady 🤍RIP Sue

We are very sad to not be able to attend the celebration of Sue’s life. She & Don were well known in the Otatara district owning the Snow White Dairy & Grumpy’s Takeaways for many years. They were a friendly team & it was always nice to call in & have a wee chat (& some cheeky banter from Don) whilst being served. Sending our love & condolences to the family. 💛

I spent my teen hood at Sues place growing up with Di x learnt how to drive in Sues Hillman Hunter, working out how to change down gears going around corners to fast. Sue was always so patient, so loving and warm. A dab hand on the sewing machine she made incredible pieces. It is the only time I’ve worn a bow on my head and bow on the butt of a dress x every stitch made with love. Her kindness is in each of her kids and I’m sure her grandees. It’s lives like hers that make this world a more beautiful xx Sue will be busy catching up with a lot of folk give mine a hug from me x all my love always Nic
