HENDERSON Allan Wayne (Barney)

Unexpectedly passed away, whilst on holiday in Nelson, on Tuesday 18th March 2025, aged 77 years.

Dearly loved husband of Marlene for 54 years.

Much loved father and father in law of Maree and Pita Lloyd, Julie Henderson and Michael Diack, Kate and Andrew Wright, and Peter and Alana Shields.

Much loved Pop of all his grandchildren. Loved brother and brother in law of Ken and Alice Henderson, Alan* and Linda Gieseg, Eric and Norma* Gieseg, and David and Jan Gieseg.

Loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Dearly loved son of the late Oliver and Ngaire Henderson and son in law of the late Dorothy and Jack Gieseg.

A Celebration of Allan’s life will be held on Tuesday 25th March 2025, 2pm at Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road, Invercargill.

So sorry to read of Alan’s sudden death. Memories of the fun we all had together on a cruise ship a few years ago.
Alan was a really nice bloke. Our deepest sympathies to you all Marlene.
