I ,was fortunate to see Mrs Evans at the Edendale school jubilee .I was one of her pupils in the days when she was still Miss Parker.
I will remember her fondly not only as my first teacher but also as a lovely person.

I, was fortunate to see Mrs Evans at the Edendale School jubilee, earlier this year. I will remember her fondly not only as my first teacher but also as a lovely lady.

Dorothy was a special lady in our family, being a life long friend of my mother (Helen Miller nee Fisken) and her brothers. Dorothy was only about two weeks younger than our Mum so as good friends they go right back to the start in Brydone. I have fond memories of visiting with both Dorothy and her mother.
Our thoughts are with Dorothy’s family.

Miss Parker/Mrs Evans was such a wonderful and kind first year teacher and it was exciting when she got married (as a 5 year old) The best teacher anyone could have. I have found memories of her playing the Zippy Zither. Much love the Spencer’s
