So sorry to read of Kens passing- we were neighbours at Kapuka many years ago- I was Linda Shand- tennis buddies from way back Grace. He was a fine man- very quiet but kind and generous and much respected in the district. I believe he was still looking after the “old” people at the rest home until just recently- my sister caught up with him in Ingill shopping earlier this year and was amazed at how fit and active he was and how he was still looking out for others- he will be much missed by you who loved him.Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Fondest regards, Bill & Linda Maha. ( Bill owned Mokotua Store and knew Ken well too).

Ken was my bible in school teacher in the late 70s early 80s - he used to bring us Tim tam chocolate biscuits at the end of every school term a real treat back then! Years later I did an alpha course that he also attended- such a lovely Christian man

Ken George was a much loved uncle, great and great great uncle to all of his extended family on this side of the ditch. He never forgot us, always kept in touch, travelled to see us when he was able and phoned when he could no longer travel. His interest in people, technology and world events gave him an outlook younger than his years. we will always remember Ken for his kindness and compassion, his commitment to caring for his mother, all driven by his deep and abiding faith. Our lives are much richer for having the privilege of Ken in our family. He made his extended family his own. Love to all the clan form Shirley, David and family in Australia and the Netherlands.

Our love and deepest sympathy to you all. Thinking of you in a special way today
