A tribute to my mother - Asovale Mary Aggerholm

She was the whisper in the winds I never quite caught
A name I carried, but a path I rarely walked
Though time kept us apart - still I pause,
To honor her life, her journey, her cause.

Today I acknowledge the passing of my mother -
A woman I didn't really know
But still shaped a part of who I am.
She walked a path I did not know
A soul stitched into mine,
Though time kept us apart.

Today I lift a prayer into the heavens
Not just for her rest,
But for grace between what was and what wasn't.
She gave me life , though we shared little time
Between us stood distance,
Shaped by silence and seasons.

We didn't share many memories
And our paths rarely crossed
But I still honor her life and the role she played in mine
In her own way she gave me the beginning of everything.

Wishing her peace now
And trusting that time and grace will fill the quiet spaces left behind.
May angels cradle her spirit in gentle flight
And may the light of peace surround what couldn't be made whole.
In God's tapestry, all threads find purpose

Rest peacefully now Mum.
Held in mercy, lifted in love
Your journey is your own - and I honor it now.
RIL - Asovale Mary Aggerholm
