Dick will be sorely missed by all of us. He took my two kids Courtney and Angus as his grandchildren even though they weren’t related too him and he spoiled them and treated them with love and kindness like a grandad would. They had a lot of good times with dick and he had a saying whenever they went too town and came home with something he would tell me it fell off the back of a truck. Rest in peace dick

Dick did an amazing job of giving me a grandfather figure in my life, despite not been related he took on the role with pleasure, kindness and care, always supportive and showing up when it was needed the most. Grandad gave me memories I will treasure forever and was a real gentleman although a bit impatient at times, I will miss our weekly lunch dates especially knowing how excited he got most of the time he could barely wait to get out the door, I will miss hearing him tell stories from when he grew up, my weeks won't be the same now not having to fight him just to pay for lunch, thank you dick for stepping up and been my grandad. You will be forever missed by many
