Deepest sympathy to Andrea, your children, grandchildren, dad, siblings nieces and nephews on such a huge loss💙.
Such a great man. Rest in Love
Rick 🥰
Though no longer with us, their presence will be remembered through the lives they impacted and the memories shared.
May they rest in peace, and may we find comfort in honoring the legacy they leave behind.
Much love to tayla and family
RIP Rick
My thoughts and prayers are with you Andrea and your Family. God Bless
Partner for some. Lots of laughs,
Plenty of drinks, time spent on the farm
That will stay with us always, can say it now a penguin in the set net, oysters in the harbour and a bonfire in the beach. Life takes us in all directions but one thing we and so many others will and do remember is you gave and really did care. For us that meant helping with a car yard when we had serious health issue with kels. And still being there as a friend when business went bad. But my favourite memory was of you guys just simply being there across the road and about 4 houses down in Margaret st. Please take some time off before you try to Help over the other side they have been doing this for a while
Now am sure you can streamline but take a break
Love to all the family from us here in Noosa
You were the husband of my daughter Andrea, a father to my grandson Gabriel, the grandfather to my
great-granddaughters Katerine Ligia and Theodora Maria, a brother-in-law and friend to my daughter Adriana, and loving with my wife Ligia.
As for me, I always received your respect and affection.
Mami and Mimo have broken hearts - you came into our lives, and everything changed for the better.
You gave us everything you knew how to give: affection, generosity, and a sense of security.
You loved life and people - you never rejected anyone.
Your passion was the sea, and everything it gave you, you shared with immense joy.
You loved your country with pride.
You got to know ours (Colombia) and embraced it with love.
All I can say is THANK YOU for your life and for having shared it with ours.
May the power of God accompany and strengthen us all.
- Mimo (your Father-in-law)
I'm going to miss those hugs you gave us with so much love and affection.
The joy you showed when you saw us.
I have so many memories of you, On my birthday, you gave me a mini table clock and a tiger print bracelet; I will cherish them dearly.
And how could I forget you’re my baptism godfather.
In Santa Marta, Colombia, you fell in love with the military uniform, and I got you the full set. You couldn't believe it, you looked like a General with 20 decorations.
When you played the virtual guitar singing country music and the haka,
The fish you used to cook for me the blue cod and I was so happy, and when you managed to rescue little Rico the dog.
So many memories engraved in my heart.
I thank God for bringing you into our lives.
You will live on in us forever.
- La Mami (your Mother-in-law)
I just can’t thank you enough for loving my parents, for offering a better life in a Wonderful Country to my beloved Andrea & Gabe.
And you fulfilled my dream, you showed me your land, that land you were always so proud of, and you showed me your beloved Fiordland.
And you were happy, and the sea that you loved so much claimed you.
Our Ricky, you'll always be a big part of my family.
Until We meet again, Bro.
- Adriana (your sister-in-law)
Sending big hugs 💞
Our deepest condolences on Ricky’s sudden and unexpected passing. Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad & difficult time. Take comfort in knowing how many lives he touched 🥰
May we find comfort in the stories, the laughter, and the legacy he leaves behind. Rest peacefully, Rick — you will never be forgotten.
Every now and then God gets it right and makes a beauty! Well he got it right when the Rick Myster came into the world.
So lucky to have had you in our lives Rick. I have a smile on my face thinking about the fun times we shared. So many pearlers. Lana will never forget the love and support you gave her when she was at the Steel. RIP mate Xx Jeremy and Lana
Rick was such a special Man, as a family that grew up with our family at Waikawa we share in your grief
Sorry we cannot be with you today.
With much love Paul And Ceiia Watson
Enjoyed working with you and as a true friend!!
But I will continue to see you in Rye who loves the sea with the same passion you do, who loves his large group of mates like you do and who equally loves a drink stand at birthday parties like you do. I have watched him make some questionable decisions over a couple of cups of fanta ( jump jam). It makes me smile and slightly nervous at the same time. I see you in Era who is afraid of no one and nothing. Who we gently back down from stare offs with mean kids in the park, patting her back telling her it is not worth it... You told me she was you and again it makes me smile but also slightly nervous. We will continue to live full fun lives and I know you will be watching. Keep the sharks away. We will swap notes when I see you again.
Love, Jaimee
Please accept our families' sincere condolences.
I remember Ricky as a lively, adventurous and charming boy. He told me many times how much he and his siblings enjoyed their sojourn in our house at Progress Valley while their new home on the Falkner farm was being built. He said their favourite indoor past time was running up and down the stairs and hiding in cupboards. Always he was smiling, active and enjoying whatever life had to offer.
Do remember him that way and may those memories comfort you now and in the future.
