HANSEN, Margaret Ann Louisa, (nee Jones).

Of Winton. Passed surrounded by family on Thursday 31 July 2025, aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late Charlie. Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Shona (Winton), Denise and Rob (Invercargill), Robyn (Tauranga), Nicholla and Michael (Christchurch). Adored Grandma of Aron, and Nathan; Kenneth, and Blake; Sammy and Jack; Charlie, Lexi, and Archie; and great-grandchildren Paige, Kirra-Lee, Chloe, and Lexi.

A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Monday 4 August at 11am, followed by interment at East Winton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated. Special thanks to Radius Clare House, Monarc Health, and Hospice Southland for their wonderful care and support of Margaret. Sympathies go out to all the family on the loss of Margaret, a really lovely lady who has lived a good life.
Thoughts go way back to the 80’S when we regularly bought sheep from Charlie and Margaret.
The garden was a source of joy and pride.
