Fond memories of Margaret. A very special lady I got to know when I was a customer, then had the pleasure of working alongside Margaret for many years in Ladieswear at H&J Smith.
Margaret will be remembered as the life and soul of our social occasions. Lots of laughs and great times were had in your presence.
Love you lots.

Condolences and love to you all on the loss of Margie. May all the wonderful memories help through this tough time.

I met Margie through HJS then again at Windsor Hospice Shop.

Whether it was admiring her displays, looking at her bargains or sharing a laugh seeing Margie always made my day.

I am lucky to have known you Margie and to have had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful lady.

I will never ever forget you, you are one of the characters in the book of my life for which I am forever grateful. If I can make it through life as long as you have with the grace and dignity you did I will consider myself lucky.

Rest in love Margie.

I read this at your service and thought it might be nice to place here as well.
Hi Gran. I'm going to carry so many beautiful memories of you throughout my life and the wonderful lessons ypu taught me. I remember you showing me how to make my first cheese sauce. You were so patient with me even when I started to get frustrated at how long it took to thicken. I learnt how to weed in your garden at Miller st, though to call it weeding is a stretch, I just shoveled dirt out of the garden and piled it up on the lawn. I learnt how to ride a bike on that same lawn with the bicycle you brought me. A classic shopping bargain of yours from the dump store, you even painted it pink for me. You taught me to sew, how to do calligraphy, how to make girdle scones and shortbread. Never did we go without baking around you. You poured so much love into the food you made us. We always said you cooked too much food for dinners. But you know what? I'm going to miss that. The love that was spread out on those dinner tables. The care that filled our tummies.
You always cared for us. For me. When I was in hospital I always had snacks and juice from gran. I felt so lucky. Just as I feel so lucky today for having had you in my life. And though I'm grieving and my heart feels heavy, I know you are still with me in every lesson you taught me and in every meal you made. It's a privilege to feel this broken by your passing because it's a testament to the wonderful woman you were and the love you gave me. I've got your mixing bowl now so I can bake and continue sharing your love through the food that is made in it. Thank you gran. I'll never stop missing you.
