Look beyond the empty chair

To know a life well spent

Looking beyond the solitude to days of content

Cherish your Broken Heart

Each moment gladly shared

Feel the touch of memory

Loved and cherished dear Dawn, I will miss our shopping and outings of mischief. I will have half a glass for you

Love your little sister Gaynor

You never got that ride with me on a Harley Davidson.

Love your brother Paul

To Jim, Gaynor, Paul and family I along with Debbie would like to pass on our most sincere condolences at this very sad time of Dawn’s passing. I remember Dawn well from 60 plus years ago when Dawn and Gaynor would babysit us in McKenzie street. In those years the south end of McKenzie St was alive with kids just to name a few were the Baldy’s, Anderson’s, Harpers, Sleemans, Boatwoods(Smiths), Browns, Boyd’s, Robinson’s, Owen-Cooper’s. Dawn I will always remember the many times you looked after us at our house and your house, Debbie and I will always remember the times you took just to say hello and how are you. It was very nice when you shifted to Waterford Drive just down from us. Rest easy Dawn you have done enough work in your life to equal that of an army.

Thinking of Dawns family at this sad time, she was such a fun and knowledgeable member of the Takitimu (Nightcaps) garden club for many years. She loved her gardens and was always so willing to share with everyone. Rest peacefully Dawn.

Dear Jim family and Gaynor and family.
So sad to hear of Dawns sudden passing.
It was so lovely catching up with you guys being back in Winton. Dawn was always the same forever! Always interested in knowing what I was up to etc and caring. Our lives go back along way and I just always knew that Jim and her family along with Gaynor and Paul and their families where her life! So much love and support. You will all miss her dearly. I still love the memory and photo I have of being her flower girl so many years ago. I’m so sorry to not be able to be with you all on Monday but will pop in next time I’m down. Best love and regards to all.
