Very sorry to hear of Noel's passing. I worked with Noel for 6-7 years in the late 1980's at Southland Farmers Co-op. They were great days and he was a valued part of the staff as the Livestock manager. As a younger staff member, he shared his experience and knowledge willingly. He will be missed by all who new him.

Hey brother, Nola and boys have chosen a real cool photo of you in younger days, looking real smart.
But Seriously Noel, you have left us too damn soon and so suddenly that we didn't get the chance to say goodbye.
You have been the rock in our family, from organizing family reunions, to keeping in touch with your caring nature, through the illnesses of Mum and Dad, Doreen and Merv. I will miss the phone calls and your general camaraderie as a great brother. Your sudden passing has been a great shock to us all, none the least to your loving wife Nola, who is holding up so well as a brave sister in law. Go with all our love, Brother Keith.
Keith Gutsell, Taradale, Napier.
Thinking of you Nola. Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family in the sudden loss of Noel.

To Nola and Family,
We were saddened to learn of Noel’s passing, a true family man who was respected and held in high regard by the mercentile and rural Southland fraternities. As a work colleague Noel was incredibly honest and extremely supportive. The days of playing rugby and squash in Otautau along with the green shed farewells will always be remembered.

Sorry to hear of Noel's passing, I only just heard about it. I have plenty of memories of growing up with the Gutsells in the North Church days and reconnecting in more recent times. We reminisced last time we spoke about heading up to Golden Bay for holidays and eating scallops, back in the 1990s. They were fun times. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Gutsell family at this time.
