To Valda, Geoff, Phillip, Chris and families
Please accept Yve and my condolences for Neville’s passing.
Neville achieved so much in his life, his dedication and long service to the Fire Police and the leadership and mentoring he did for the amateur radio organisation. We were amazed reading the radio ham tributes for Neville that detailed the enormous amount of work he did and the high regard in which he was held.
On a personal level we are grateful for the work Neville and others in your family did to get the Checketts family history researched and published – it is a valuable record for us to have and is referred to often. It was also great catching up with Neville at the family golf days.
We will remember Neville for his friendly and relaxed manner, his cheerful smile and a man who had a strong focus on family and volunteering in the community.
